Assoc. Prof. Dr. Soysal Baş

Dr. Soysal Baş graduated from Abant İzzet Baysal University Düzce Faculty of Medicine in 2007. Between 2007 and 2010, he worked as a research assistant at the Anesthesiology Clinic of Ankara Abdurrahman Yurtaslan Oncology Training and Research Hospital, Ege University Plastic Surgery, and Celal Bayar University Department of Anatomy, developing his surgical anatomy knowledge through cadaver work.

In 2010 he began his Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery residency at Izmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital and became a specialist in 2015. He completed his compulsory service at Şanlıurfa Mehmet Akif İnan Training and Research Hospital, where, in addition to aesthetic surgery, he performed hand surgery, cleft lip and palate, burn, maxillofacial trauma and microsurgery operations.

In 2018 he was appointed to Şişli Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital, became chief resident in 2021, and received the title of Associate Professor in April 2023. Since September 2023, he has been practicing in his own clinic.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Baş, who has national and international publications and presentations, serves as a journal reviewer and is a member of the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Society, the Reconstructive Microsurgery Society and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
