Story
Prof. Dr. Mehmet Çolak graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1998, completed his specialty in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Mersin University between 1999 and 2004, and his hand surgery subspecialty at the same university in 2011.
In 2005–2006 he served as an orthopedic specialist at the Van Military Hospital, and in 2007 he was an observer at Hospital Garcia de Orta in Portugal. He is a faculty member in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Mersin University Faculty of Medicine and served as Deputy Chief Physician at Mersin University Hospital between 2014 and 2023.
His areas of interest are pediatric orthopedics, hand surgery, limb deformity surgery and orthopedic trauma surgery. Prof. Dr. Çolak, who has publications in international journals, is a member of TOTBİD, TOTEK and the Turkish Society for Surgery of the Hand and Upper Extremity.
