Story
Prof. Dr. Tarık Yonguç graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and completed his urology residency at Pamukkale University. He became an associate professor in 2016 and a full professor in 2021.
He has worked as a urology specialist and teaching staff member at Acıpayam State Hospital, Denizli Regional Hospital and Izmir Training and Research Hospital. He currently serves as Head of the Department of Urology at Izmir Tınaztepe University Faculty of Medicine, practicing at Tınaztepe Galen (Bayraklı) and Buca hospitals.
His main areas of interest are oncological surgery for prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular cancers, HoLEP laser and TUR-P prostate surgeries, minimally invasive stone surgeries (RIRS, flexible URS), female pelvic organ prolapse, urethral stricture, and male urinary incontinence (artificial sphincter) surgery. He has numerous scientific publications in international journals.
